THE TASK
For this individual assignment 1(A), we are first needed to watch a movie documentary 'EARTH' 2007. While watching the film we are required to observe and investigate the natural elements, flora and fauna that is presented in the film. Then, after watching the film, we are required to sketch out and describe in detail the natural elements that we had investigated through different kinds of sources be it from books or the internet in infographic manner. At the end of the assignment, we are needed to write a reflection from what we have learnt from the movie.

Right after the assignment brief by Ms. Renee, I took her advice and searched for infographic illustrations on Pinterest for inspiration before starting on my assignment. I found many inspirations and decided to follow their layouts for my assignment as well.

REFLECTION
thinking and problem solving skills -
During this assignment, I was able to think critically and creatively. I searched for examples of infographic illustrations on Pinterest before working on the assignment so that I have a gist of what I am supposed to do. Not only that, I defined, observed and analyzed different kinds of natural elements from the movie using different sources such as Youtube videos and also articles from the Internet to help me with my assignment.
lifelong learning -
This being the first assignment that I started with in college, I realized how everything is done independently which is very different from high school. However, after working on this assignment for a few weeks, I managed to finish up this assignment by finding information on the Internet by myself. After this experience, I felt more confident since I know that I have the capability of learning things independently.
discipline specific knowledge -
After this assignment, I learned a lot of new things that I am able to put into practice in my everyday life. For instance, I made it a priority to recycle my waste at home after I learned how our actions are affecting the wildlife and nature. Not only that, I learned how to manage my time well after experiencing doing my work at the eleventh hour for another assignment.
