PROJECT 1
GEOMETRY AND FORM : ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES
Our first project is to introduce students the application of design elements and principles by creating geometric 2D artworks (tattoo stamp) and transforming them into 3D models. In this project we had been divided into groups where each member was allocated to do 2 tattoo stamps and models related to the design elements and principle of their choosing. The outcome of this project is to showcase the understandings of the design process and students to apply architectural design elements, principles and form transformation.

Project Reflection -
For our first project, I was able to become closer and meet with new people by working as a group with them. Not only that, this project also helped deepened my understanding and application of design element and principles which will be constantly referred to for our future projects as well.
PROJECT 2
STRUCTURE AND BODY : MATERIALS, ANTHROPOMETRIC AND ERGONOMIC EXPLORATION (ISOLATION STRUCTURE)
For our second project, students are to work individually to design a structure for self isolation to reflect on our personal behaviour during the pandemic. When creating models of isolation structure, recycled materials are encouraged to be used as the main building materials for this project. The outcome of this project is to allow students to explore the characteristics of selected materials and dimension of the body to produce a structure that highlights form and spatial quality.

Project Reflection -
For our second project, I was able to learn and understand the concept of a tectonic structure such as different joinery methods whilst also studying the characteristics and properties of different recycled materials when creating the isolation structure. However, the execution of design and application of material to create the model could be improved. Nevertheless, I learned so much during the process of this project to bring forward to the next project.
PROJECT 3
SPACE AND SENSORY : SELF-EXPLORATION THROUGH SPACES (SENSORY SPACE)
For our third and final project, students are to work individually to design a Sensory Space by further developing our Isolation Structure from our second project. For this project, students are to study and incorporate actual building materials such concrete, timber, steel or glass into our design. The outcome of this project is to allow students to create a design of a series of spaces which anticipates and accommodates user's needs and emotions during the pandemic.

Project Reflection -
For our third and final project, I struggled with the designing and model making stage to create a poetic sensorial space at first. Nevertheless, I am satisfied as I was able to combine ideas and design principles from the previous two project in order to craft a series of sensory space to express my personal journey and emotions during the pandemic. I still have a lot to learn and hope to continue to improve for upcoming semesters.
REFLECTION
thinking and problem solving skills -
For all three of the projects, I was able to think critically and creatively when applying design elements and principles into my models. Whenever I was struggling during the design and development stage, I reached out to my friends and also looked up for inspirations from different sources to help me improve progressively from each project to another.
communication skills -
For our first project, we are required to work as a group. Due to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to meet each other to work on the project face to face. However, we managed to communicate to each other using different methods such as group chats and also video calls to finish the project together.
intrapersonal skills -
When working on all three projects with relatively heavy workload, I was able to manage my time in order to avoid working at the last minute to submit my projects on time. I managed my time as best as I can by scheduling my time among the other project for different modules.
